Event Time: July 23-25, 2024
Event Location: Fu Jen Catholic University
This event was the promotion and results presentation of the text analysis platform Tarflow, part of the ‘Text Mining and Digital Transformation Services Industry-Academia Alliance.’ It took place at the ICSSI 2024 International Conference on Service Science and Innovation. We extend our gratitude to the Taiwan Society for Service Science for their assistance in organizing this promotional event.
The Tarflow Text Analysis Workflow Platform is one of the core technologies of the alliance. Through this event, we promoted the advantages of text mining technology. The platform offers a drag-and-drop, no-code interface, allowing users to perform text analysis without needing to learn programming. Users can learn how to quickly integrate and analyze data using components such as word clouds, topic modeling, and chatGPT.
This promotional event was primarily aimed at conference participants, including industry professionals and academics. Through live demonstrations of the platform’s functions, attendees interested in the text analysis platform were able to see how easily it can be operated. The event aimed to lower the barriers to entry for text analysis technology, showing that with just a basic understanding of the platform’s features, users can quickly get started and experience the benefits of digital tools.
The results were presented by team members and platform developers, PhD candidates Jia-Ming Chang and Yi-Hang Tsai, who demonstrated the capabilities of the Tarflow technology on-site. Alliance leader Professor San-Yi Huang expressed his hope that this promotional event would help more people realize that text mining technology is not as difficult as it might seem. It can also be applied to trending topics like ChatGPT and generative AI, making it possible for anyone to become a text mining analyst.
